I am a figurative painter and printmaker who explores familial loss, perception and memory: highlighting my upbringing in Germany and the loss of my mother.  My paintings are known to be large, textured and colorful, while my relief and monotype prints are tight and monochrome.

After moving to Portland, Oregon in 2013, I attended Portland Community College and received my BFA in 2020 from Oregon College of Art and Craft (Via Pacific Northwest College of Art).  While attending OCAC I was awarded a Presidential Scholarship and the Gamblin Paint Award- recognizing outstanding artistic achievement in oil painting.  Most recently my work was exhibited in a group showing of OCAC senior work in Gallery 157 at PNCA.
